The full sized maquette of Kokopelli is now outside the chapel in Cilcain.
On the chapel railings, Nick has left this inscription:

After taking these pictures, I sat with Nick in his studio talking about his work, and produced some informal portraits of him.

The shell; the symbol of the Camino de Santiago, is the inspiration for another work – based on the North Wales Pilgrims Way, running from Holywell to Bardsey.

‘Buddies’ – An update

‘Buddies’ – the sculpture for Ysgol-Y-Foel, is ready and waiting in the sculptor’s yard. It will shortly go on display outside Capel Gad, pending the school being ready to move it to its permanent home. A better quality photo to follow shortly!

The start of a commissioned work…
A split section of a tree trunk has revealed the forms that will inspire this work. The slideshow displays an initial sketch, the timber pieces that provide the fuel for the ideas, and an early macquette of one of the forms.
